Mwenyekiti wa halmashauri ya Mafinga Mjini Charles Makoga akizungumza wakati wa baraza la madiwani wa halmashauri hiyo Baadhi ya madiwani wa halmashauri ya Mji wa Mafinga wakiwa katika baraza pamoja na wataalamu mbalimbali wa halmashauri hiyo. Na fredy Mgunda, Mafinga Halmashauri ya Mji wa Mafinga mkoni Iringa inatarajia kukuza mapato katika mwaka Mpya wa 2017/2018 kutokana na kuanza kuzitumia sheria mpya za ukusanyaji mapato pamoja na kuvijua vyanzo vingine vya mapato ambavyo ndio vitasababisha kukuza uchumi wa halmashauri hiyo. Public-interest journalism has positive impact on ‘out-of-control’ housing sector

Hello At its best, serious, public-interest journalism can be a force for positive change in the world. Last week, after years of campaigning journalism by the Guardian, the UK government announced that leaseholds on new-build houses in England are to be banned following widespread outrage over exploitative contracts.  Journalist Patrick Collinson has doggedly and fairly interrogated the issue in a series of reports, giving voice to property buyers trapped in an unfair system and challenging house-building firms and the government to act.  “This is an out-of-control sector that greedily exploits the desperate need for homes, and it needs to be brought under control, fast,” wrote the Guardian in its editorial.  Your support helps us dedicate time and resources to important issues like this.
