By Friday Simbaya, Iringa THE Iringa Regional Commissioner Amina Juma Masenza has hailed local investors and all those from abroad who decided to invest in the Region.  She made the statement yesterday during the launching of the Campaign for promoting industrial construction in the region, through the theme, "Our Region, Our Industries" campaign. Data shows, until now Iringa Region has 24 major Industries, 35 industries, 149 factories and more than 3,000 smaller industries.  She said all those industries provide livelihoods of 15,000 people, equivalent to 1.6 percent of the population of the entire Iringa Region.  “Our goal is to increase this level of industry so that they can contribute significantly to the Regional Economy,” said Masenza.
