WITH few days remaining before the Election Day on October 31, 2010 towards general election 2010, Iringa Region have a total of 785, 192 eligible voters and also 2,367 polling stations have been earmarked , it has been revealed. Speaking on Tuesday during an interview with ‘The Guardian’, the Regional Election Coordinator (REC) Barnabas Ndunguru said that every thing have been set well towards the preparations of the general election. He told this newspaper that all electoral materials including the ballot papers have already arrived in all electoral constituencies of Iringa Region ready for the balloting.
