POLICE IN IRINGA HAS PICKS THE DEAD BODIES

POLICE in Iringa Region has picked up a dead body of unknown man at Wilolesi area near Wilolesi HillTop Hotel in Iringa municipality, it has been established.

The body of person yet to be identified approximately aged 30-35 years, was picked up by police on Wednesday at around 19:00 hrs near the Wilolesi mountains.

Speaking to journalists on Thursday at the press briefing, Regional Police Chief Spokesman, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Evarist Mangalla narrated that the body was found hanging from the tree using a bed sheet.

He noted that the name of decease could not immediately identified because there identities found on the scene and the body of man is preserved at the Iringa region Hospital mortuary for his relatives to come forward and pickup for the burial.

In another development, cow herder has discovered a decomposed dead body of women lying beside the river at Isakalilo urban Village in Iringa Municipal Council yesterday.

According to the daughter of the late women, Remija Chelula, who identified the body of her mother by the name of Anyesi Kalongole, her mother disappeared from home since 14th February this year.

She said that they reside at Ipamba Village of Tosamaganga area in Iringa District, Iringa region.

According to her (Chelula), her mother went for the drink in the nearby village with her colleague but she never returned back home.

However, police has confirmed to have seen the body but could not detail because they to waiting the doctor to do the postmortem and promised give details on Monday.

The police also going on with investigation to establish the truth and who the people involved in connection the death of woman.
