MAHAFALI YA 13 YA CHUO KISHIRIKI CHA IRINGA-TUMAINI

 Mkuu wa Chuo Kikuu cha Tumaini Askofu  Dk. Alex Malasusa (kushoto) akisimama pamoja na wageni waalikwa wengine kwa ajili ya kuimba wimbo wa Taifa (National Anthem) katika Mahafali 13- 2010 ya Chuo Kuu Kishiriki cha Iringa, uliyokuwa unaogozwa na Kikundi cha Maturumbeta na Sanaa cha KJ 841 cha Mafinga JKT, Iringa. Vile vile kusho ni Askofu Dk. Odenburge Mdegella Mwenyekiti wa Bodi ya Chuo Kishiriki cha Iringa akuwakaribisha wageni wote na kuongeza sala na wimbo wa Taifa.



Baadhi ya wahitimu 852 katika Mahafali ya Chuo hicho wa kishiriki sala na wimbo wa Taifa.





THE Vice Chancellor for Tuimaini University, Prof. John Shao has called upon graduates to provide services to the community diligently when they go back to home despite the challenges that are there in society hence poverty reduction and quality life improvement.


The vice chancellor was speaking on Saturday during the 13th graduation ceremony 2010 of Tumaini University-Iringa University College (IUCO) held at Iringa Campus grounds in Iringa Region.

Prof. Shao said graduates should make sure that they serve the community and help to bring new hope in different areas and so help them come out the poor quality situation.

He noted that the academic resources they have acquired from the university can change the society for the better by using their intellectuals they have obtained from the higher learning institutions.

“We know that there are a lot challenges that the society were facing right now but through careers that you have you can do thing to change situation at least and the government to make it delivering services to its people,” he said.

There were a total of 852 students graduated in various disciplines including certificate in wondering Sheppard’s whereby nomadic pastoralists were given special course in how to become permanent livestock keepers by avoiding nomadic way life and 10 students mostly the Maasai community graduated.

Due to the issue of climate change and environmental degradation the nomadic way of life done by mostly the pastoralists’ community should be avoided in order to protect the environment.

Other awards were master of business administration, 108 students, and postgraduate diploma in management four (4), postgraduate diploma in education-administration (22), degree of bachelor of divinity (7), and degree of bachelor in counseling (45), degree of bachelor of administration (68) and degree of Bachelor of Arts in journalism (22).

Also, degree of bachelor of cultural and tourism (122), degree of bachelor of arts in community development (122), degree of bachelors of laws (134), bachelor of science in education (mathematics) (120), degree of bachelor of science in information and technology (27), diploma in technology (13) and certificate of business administration (37) respectively honored to them by Tumaini University Chancellor Bishop Alex Malasusa the guest of honor during 13th graduation ceremony.
