Mkuu wa Mkoa wa Njombe Dkt. Rehema Nchimbi akiongea na wadau mbalimbali wa mradi wa upatikanaji, matumizi na usimamizi wa rasilimali za maji katika hali endelevu wakati wa warsha iliyofanyika leo katika halmashauri ya mji wa Makambako mkoani Njombe, iliyoandaliwa na WWF-RWP kwa kushirikiana na Ofisi ya Maji Bonde la Rufiji (RBWB).

Wengine kutoka kushoto ni Mshauri wa Sera kutoka WWF-TCO, Afisa Maji kutoka bonde la rufiji Idris Abdallah Msuya na mwenyekiti wa warsha Robert Chaula.

Lengo la mradi huu ni kuhakikisha ifikapo mwaka 2016 wadau katika ngazi zote wafanye kazi pamoja katika kuleta uwiano na uendelevu wa upatikanaji, matumizi na usimamizi wa rasilimali za maji katika mto Mkuu Ruaha.

MUCE IMPLEMENTS SH18.6 BILLION PROJECT IN HONOUR OF FATHER OF THE NATION’S VISION

As Tanzania marks 26 years since the passing of the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere — a passionate advocate for education — Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), continues to successfully implement the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project worth over Sh18.6 billion.
