UN KUSAFISHA KILIMANJARO

Mkuu wa mkoa wa Kilimanjaro Leonidas Gama akimkaribisha Mratibu Mkazi wa mashirika ya Umoja wa Mataifa na Mwakilishi wa Shirika la Maendeleo la Umoja wa Mataifa (UNDP) nchini Bw. Alvaro Rodriguez alipomtembelea kwa ajili ya mazungumzo.

Mratibu wa mashirika ya Umoja wa Mataifa nchini Tanzania Bw. Alvaro Rodriguez, alikutana na Mkuu wa mkoa wa Kilimanjaro Bw. Leonidas Gama na kufanya naye mazungumzo.

Miongoni mwa mambo waliyojadili ni maandalizi ya shughuli na matukio kuadhimisha miaka 70 ya Umoja wa Mataifa (UN@70 ).

Katika mazungumzo yao walikubaliana kufanya shughuli ya upandaji miti kuzunguka Mlima Kilimanjaro na kusafisha sehemu ya mji kabla ya Siku ya Umoja wa Mataifa.

Mkuu wa mkoa alikubaliana na wazo hilo na kusema shughuli hiyo inafaa kufanyika katikati ya mwezi wa Agosti.

MUCE IMPLEMENTS SH18.6 BILLION PROJECT IN HONOUR OF FATHER OF THE NATION’S VISION

As Tanzania marks 26 years since the passing of the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere — a passionate advocate for education — Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), continues to successfully implement the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project worth over Sh18.6 billion.
