WATU wanane wamefariki dunia akiwemo mpambe wa (ADC), wa Mkuu wa Jeshi la Polisi Tanzania, IGP, Inspekta Gerald. Ryoba kutokana na mafuriko ya mvua huko Kibaigwa mkoani Dodoma. 

Kwa mujibu wa taarifa ya Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoani Dodoma, David Misiime, Mpambe wa IGP, akiwa na familia yake walikutwa na umauti baada ya gari walilokuwa wakisafiria kutoka Dodoma kuelekea Dar es Salaam, kwenye barabara kuu ya Dodoma-Morogoro kusombwa na mafuriko ya maji yaliyokuwa yakienda kasi usiku wa kuamkia leo Januari 4, 2016 eneo la bwawani. 

Akifafanua zaidi, Kamanda huyo wa polisi amewaambia waandishi wa habari mkoani Dodoma leo Januari 4, 2016 kuwa katika gari hilo kulikuwa na watu 6 ambao wote walifariki dunia na miili yao tayari imepatikana wakiwemo watu wengine wawili wakazi wa eneo hilo. 

Kamanda Misiime amewataja marehemu kuwa ni pamoja na Gerald Ryoba ambaye ni msaidizi wa Mkuu wa jeshi la Polisi nchini, watoto ambao ni Gabriel Gerald Ryoba, Godwin Gerald Ryoba na mkewe Fidea John Kiondo. 

Wengine ni Dereva wa gari hilo F.3243 Koplo Ramadhan, Msichana wa kazi aliyefahamika kwa jina la Sara mwenyeji wa mbinga Mkoani Ruvuma.

Bodi ya Ithibati ya Waandishi wa Habari (JAB) imeendelea na jitihada za kusogeza huduma zake kwa waandishi wa habari nchini, safari hii ikifika katika Klabu ya Waandishi wa Habari Iringa (Iringa Press Club – IPC), ikiwa ni sehemu ya mkakati wa kuboresha tasnia ya habari na kulinda taaluma ya uandishi wa habari. MUCE IMPLEMENTS SH18.6 BILLION PROJECT IN HONOUR OF FATHER OF THE NATION’S VISION

As Tanzania marks 26 years since the passing of the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere — a passionate advocate for education — Mkwawa University College of Education (MUCE), a constituent college of the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM), continues to successfully implement the Higher Education for Economic Transformation (HEET) Project worth over Sh18.6 billion.
