Jeshi la polisi mkoani iringa linamshikilia mfanyakazi wa bustani (shamba boy) mkazi wa wilaya ya kilolo kwa tuhuma ya mauaji ya mtoto miaka sita.

Kamanda wa polisi mkoani Juma bwire makanya aliiambia nipashe jana kuwa mfanyakazi huyo Jofrey Jasephat miaka 29 mkazi wa wilaya ya kilolo mkoani iringa anashikiliwa na polisi kwa tuhuma ya mauaji ya mtoto.

Bwire alisema kuwa tukio hilo lilitokea tarehe 04/07/2018 majira ya saa 5 asubuhi huko maeneo ya Kibwabwa “B” kata ya Kitwiru manispaa ya iringa, mkoani Iringa.

Alisema kuwa mtoto huyo ambaye jina lake limehifadhiwa mkazi wa Kibwabwa B aliuawa kwa kukatwakatwa na mapanga sehemu za shingo na mikononi na kisha mwili wake kuhifadhiwa kwenye mfuko wa salefti na kuuficha kwenye pagale.

Kamanda huyo alifafanua kuwa chanzo cha mauaji hayo ni kutokana na kauli za maudhi kutoka kwa mtoto kwendakwa mtuhumiwa akidai yeye ni mpumbavu hafai baada ya mtoto kunyimwa mua alioomba.

ACP Bwire alisema kuwa mtuhumiwa alipandwa na hasira kisha kuchukua uamuzi huo. Hata hivyo, upelelezi unaendelea na ukikamilika mtuhumiwa atafikishwa mahakamani ili sheria ichukuwe mkondo wake.
